Born in Lancaster, Lancashire, Pat began receiving formal drum
lessons at age 7 (later studying piano and percussion). After
receiving lessons from two enthusiastic local teachers, performing
with many youth ensembles, semi-pro gigs and reaching the
"Drummers' Alliance" National Finals, he won a scholarship to study
with acclaimed teacher Dave Hassell. 2 years later he turned pro,
performing and teaching whilst based in Manchester. Pat moved to
London in late 2003 and continues to be a very active freelance
player both live and in the studio.
